Re-Interpretaciones de ilustraciones

Nicolás Menza

Para la muestra "Bi.siones" (re-interpretaciones de Ilustraciones) del museo Castagnino de Mar del Plata realicé dos re interpretaciones de ilustraciones, la primera sobre la obra "La esfera y yo" de Nicolás Menza, pintor argentino. Ésta ilustración luego se publicó en la Revista Terminus N°11.
Y la segunda la titulé "El Misterio en la Playa" del artista Gregory Manchess, ésta ilustración luego se utilizó en la muestra "Héroes Marinos" y en las promocionales de la Revista Ultramar.
Aunque los trabajos originales son pinturas en dónde el gran acierto es el color. En mi trabajo preferí usar tintas digitales y llevarlas al espacio del dibujo.

     For the exhibition "Bi.siones" (re-interpretations of Illustrations) of the Castagnino Museum in Mar del Plata, I made two re-interpretations of illustrations, the first on the work "La esfera y yo" by Nicolás Menza, an Argentine painter. This illustration was later published in the Terminus Magazine No. 11.

And the second one was titled "The Mystery on the Beach" by the illustrator Glen Orbik, this illustration was later used in the exhibition "Heroes Marinos" and in the promotionals of the Ultramar Magazine.

However, the original works are paintings where the main achievement is the color. In my work, I preferred to use digital inks and take them to the space of the drawing.
